THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY ----> continued
We've learned from the Book of Revelation in the HOLY BIBLE that Chapter 19:10 records "the testimony of Jesus Christ" is The SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.
We also learned in the Book of Genesis the 49th chapter and the 8th-12th verse how that the Prophet JACOB, laid hands on his twelve sons and prophesied over them of what things should befall them in the latter days. And we discovered that well in advance of His coming the MESSIAH is prophesied of as coming from the tribe of Judah. read more..
Moses who is also descendant from the tribe of Judah writes of a coming Prophet also that of whom all the people should hear.
Now let us look at some of the other Prophets who speak and write of the coming MESSIAH before he arrives many years in advance of his coming.

Let us now begin to examine the Book of Jeremiah and Isaiah, the writings of King David and others to see also what they Prophesy of the coming MESSIAH.
King David prophecy's of the reign of the Messiah in Psalms the 72nd chapter. We will also look at other psalms as well to illustrate the Spirit of Prophecy working in King David to show consistency throughout scriptures of the coming Messiah. There is also a plethora of scripture that are written and recorded which can be compared to a fulfillment scripture. Where say as many as 1000 years have passed from the prophecy all the way up to the actual occurrence and fulfillment. An example of this kind of prophecy in the HOLY BIBLE can be shown from the writings of King David recorded in Psalms 69:21.
"They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink."
Fulfilled in the New Testament writings of Matthew; 27:34 Which reads as follows:
"They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall; and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink."
This of course refers to the crucifixion where the Messiah now having been crucified upon the cross requests water to drink but instead is given urine and dung mixed with human excrement. The Messiah endured such savage treatment even though he knew well in advance of his arrival this would be the outcome.
This again is one of the unique qualities about the testimony of Jesus which causes many Christians to believe that this is indeed the true MESSIAH.
[Before we go to a different subject and are distracted as to why the Messiah would perform this feat let us continue with the topic at hand the Spirit of Prophesy derived from Revelation 19:10....for the "testimony of Jesus' IS THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY.]
Another example form the writings of King David recorded in Psalms 22:1 is fulfilled in Matthew 27:46 which reads respectively as follows:
....My GOD my GOD, why hast thou forsaken me?
....And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabach'-than? that is to say My GOD my GOD, why hast thou forsaken me?

The Messiah is on the cross at this point after enduring brutal treatment by Roman soldiers and Jews alike and crys out in His agony from thirst, pain, humiliation and now after recieving the sins of the world unto himself to atone them ,prepares for descent into the depths of hell to redeem even more sould; all of this is don as part of what the HOLY BIBLE terms as "pre-ordaination" which basicly means "before ordained".
Where this act was pre-destinated from the foundation of the World. Remember now our topic here is to discuss the testimony of Jesus Christ under the " Sprit of Prophecy" where these acts and occurences pertaining to the Messiah are spoken written then actually occur in World History.
